2025 Art Fair Artists

Charlotte Allen

Artist’s Statement

I began making simple jewelry pieces in 1990, and by 2000, I'd fallen in love with pearls. In 2005, as my skills and creative desires grew, I began exploring metalsmithing - taking workshops with world-renowned artists, and obtained a Masters in Art with a focus on metals from Eastern Michigan University.

Lorraine Kolasa

Artist’s Statement

It’s the transformation of fiber into metal, and the recontextualization that comes with it, that fascinates me.  My jewelry, specifically, emphasizes the preciousness of these often-overlooked crafts (be they crochet, cross-stitch, or something else) and the important role they’ve played in countless lives.

Kate Wilcox-Leigh

Artist's Statement

I love the power jewelry has as an art form. I am captivated by nature and intrigued by mechanisms. Often both elements can be found in my work. I use an array of materials including sterling and fine silver, high karat gold, iron as well as leather and various fibers. I earned a BFA in Crafts from the Jewelry & Metalsmithing department of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Adornment by Kate Wilcox-Leigh officially opened in 2010.
