Art Fair Boot Camp

This workshop focused on art fairs, with an emphasis on how MSG runs our booths. We did cover a lot of information; check out the presentations below.
This going to focus on the do’s and don’ts of jury pictures more than the mechanics of taking the pictures. However, there are not examples because we don’t have permission to share all the photos we looked at during the workshop.

Display Furniture
Two MSG members discussed their handmade display furniture (fixtures used to display earrings and necklaces).
Kate Wilcox-Leigh presented her steel stands and wood, tubing, and steel stands.
Lori Brauer showed us multiple ways to use everyday objects as jewelry furniture.
Mary Kernahan shared her checklist for what you MUST to bring to every fair.
Pricing
Amy Beeler gave a great presentation about different methods for pricing jewelry.
Tina Sayer talked about pricing of found objects.
